Dr S Rajan bagged prestigious Sri Girdhari Lal Chadha Memorial Gold medal in Fruit science for year 2016 for his significant contributions in field of Horticulture. The award was conferred to him during platinum jubilee of HSI at 7th Indian Horticulture Congress 2016" at B.P. Pal Auditorium, IARI, New Delhi.
